A Survey on Object Recognition, Detection and Tracking in Video

Object recognition is the task of finding and identifying objects in an image or video sequence. Object recognition is categorizes to two steps: Object detection and object tracking. The process of finding instances of real-world objects such as faces, vehicles, and buildings. Object tracking is estimating the trajectory of an object in the image plane as it moves around a scene. Object Recognition, Detection and tracking has found various applications in the field of trffic suviellance, Reatil shops, Airports, Hospitals, Banks etc., This paper provides various techniques or methods that are used to recognize, detect and track objects in the shadowed region, crowed area, multi modality background, Occluded object, and defromable based objects.
